About Birding London
Birding London
is here to help you get the best possible birdwatching experiences
around London and south east England. Take advantage of the wealth
of expert knowledge of your two principal
guides
who
have lived and
birdwatched in the area for most of their lives.
Comfortable
transport will whisk you from the city to appropriate sites
to enjoy the birding of your choice, be it woodland,
wetland, coastal
or countryside. Would you like to maximize the number of
species you wish to see in England or is there a special
bird you need?
Our trips are priced as whole days, depending
on the number of people participating (up to three) and include
all transport, reserve fees (where necessary), a check-list and
light refreshments.
Prices, whole day:
1 person £120.00 (pounds Sterling)
2 people £180.00 (pounds Sterling)
3 people £210.00 (pounds Sterling)
We know you may not be prepared for the
rigors of normal birding. A pair of stout, comfortable
shoes or trainers
will normally suffice but may get muddy in
wet conditions. Appropriate outer garments for the season and
weather
would also be necessary. A telescope is
carried by your guide to allow close views of many species. Walks
are at a leisurely pace over generally good, fairly flat
terrain and average fitness is all that
is required, but the time in the field can be quite long. Trips
often start early to take advantage of the best time
for bird activity but, of course, this can
be adapted to suit your requirements.
Whilst there are a great variety of habitats to explore, each
often holding different species at varying seasons, we
list here a few
examples of
what is available.
We can also arrange longer tours to fit your requirements, take
a look at or special trips page!
We are always happy
to
discuss
your exact needs or if you prefer, just sit
back,
relax
and
leave
it to
us!
To book a day with us simply email,
write or telephone us with your accommodation address in London
and we will
arrange to pick you up and discuss the destination. Please take
a moment to read our terms and conditions
for our day trips.
